Sogi-Ya: you can say "well, go somewhere else." but how fucking hard do you think it's gonna be for an indie project to get funding once branded with the stigma of "rejected by Steam" ...
Look at yesterday's release: Mutant Mudds isn't on Steam. It's a good game, though, and it's doing pretty well.

EDIT: Nevermin, I see BloodyGoodGames already made that point. :">
