Hello all!!I am new to the game world,,,so glad I found GOG,,,I need to know how do you patch the games,,do you just click on the patch in the same folder after install or can you start the patch from anywhere and point to the exe file in the game,,I have few games I never patched but they run great so I never did it...Thx all...
They usually detect the game and install the patch in the right place. You can verify that during the patch install.
simply run the installer and then run the patch.

easy-peasy
Thx for all your help,,sounds easy enough...I will try it if I need to....Now I need to know about MODS,,,heh!!!
Mods vary by game. Hopefully once GOG gets Galaxy out (later this month or next month?) patching will be a little less complicated for games like... Sword of the Stars.

But yeah, look on the respective game forums under the "Community" tab at the top of the GOG webpage. If that doesn't work, you can always just search the net for them, though I prefer to have mods pre-approved by names I can trust (forum members).

They really do not do enough of those mod spotlights, though to be fair there are quite a few from earlier releases.

GOG should really consider pinning them to their respective forums. I believe there was an Unreal Tournament mod spotlight buried years ago on the forums?

This one?

Yes!

I remember I saw that one time and meant to look at it, but then forgot. I played the Alien Swarm mod a looong time ago and adored it.

But threads like that really should be present on their respective forums, I'm fairly positive the user made mod threads in the Unreal forum does not list Hollow Moon.

Mod spotlights are linked in the game pages though. Would be nice to also have them present in the game forum instead of the general one, but I think that's a limitation of how the news article and the forum article work. Should be doable though, for new mod spotlights.

Amen!

I would love to see one for the MoH Warchest, I've been itching to fire it up but, I can't be assed to figure out how to properly mod it myself first.
Looks like I need to do some gamework...I will get this someday..
