Just came back to check on whether my offer was accepted. I see I'm not the only one who still has extra codes. I'd figured everybody gave all theirs out by now!
I'd give it for free, but I can't. It was reserved for somebody who I'd prefer to give it to, who I haven't been able to meet in person for a while, and despite talking to them on the phone, doesn't seem to want to use their computer.
Also, I've gifted at least $66 worth of stuff here on GOG alone (that should make me pretty trustworthy, I'd think), and the only person on earth to give me anything for my birthday was Hillsy_, who gave me a game six days early (thanks, Hillsy_!). ;_;
So, I haven't been feeling particularly generous. Also, I couldn't buy as many Humble Indie Bundle codes as I wanted, since Paypal ended up freezing my account after buying eight of them. I couldn't find a way to purchase multiple codes at once, and Paypal didn't like so many transactions in such a small period of time.
Well, again, none of that matters as it looks like there are others with free codes for you, but since you can't even trust something that's free...
Honestly, my best advice? Pay more attention to gaming deals. The GOG thread is great for that, but just bookmark GOG (You've done this already, yes?), Steam, Direct2Drive (my three favorites), GamersGate, Impulse, Greenman Gaming (Eh, if you want. There's so many problems with Greenman Gaming that it's almost not worth it sometimes...), etc, and check them around the same time once a day. You'll never miss the obvious deals this way. Most everything else worth checking out (and a few things not worth checking out), somebody on GOG is bound to have taken notice of and posted in the gaming deals thread.
Well, I've got to get going again. Might see you later! :P
