fronzelneekburm: A month down the road I'm still somewhat baffled by 2K's move to release Bioshock DRM-free in this fashion. I mean, imagine they had released it here at $20 instead. People would have bought it like crazy. "What, Bioshock DRM-free?! Take my money!" Even if they had released it at a 50% discount, that would have made them money.
Instead, "No, let's just give it away in a Bundle." And even if they ever release it here, chances of it becoming a bestseller at full price should be close to zero, since by now everybody has that DRM-free version. It just strikes me as a headdeskingly stupid decision. At least it's a headdeskingly stupid decision that benefits the players, for a change.
, I severely doubt that Take Two/2K would release the game here without a discount.
