Is there an application which gives detailed info about installed DRM's?

Not really =/
- You could check Wikipedia and Gamersgate, which list the protections of some games.
- Some copy-protections list itself as program and can be seen in Window's install / uninstall tool.
- Also certain files in your game's folder can reveal what is used.
- Sometimes the name of it is also part of the *.exe and can be seen in an hex-editor.
Unless you have like a hundred games installed I would just google their names + drm and you should find out pretty quickly. Basically there is only SecuROM, TAGES, Steam and variants of that.

But Steam isn't DRM!!!!11one. >.>

Sorry, just had to say it.
Not sure about other DRM, but I will definitely check to see if I have Starforce (the old one, I hear the new one is relatively harmless, at least for the online distributed versions of games that come with it).

He refers to Steamworks, a DRM that interacts with the Steam API and just executes the game, if the player is logged into an account with the game activated. Otherwise it tries to start Steam, so that the player can log in. If Steam isn't installed it crashes with an error message.
You can download the Securom Removal Tool from their offical website or just google it, it checks your computer for securom and removes it with the click of a button (It will warn you if it uses up an activation though).

Also for tages go to your System 32/ Drivers folder and look for Atksgt.sys and Lirsgt.sys they are TAGES drivers, to remove them simply start your computer in safe mode and delete them. Do remember that if you have the TAGES game installed it may try to recreate them if your start the game again though.

You musta missed the thing where one of the bigshots at Valve tried to tell people that Steamworks isn't DRM..

I've been calling Steam a form of DRM for a long time, was just being a goofball, as should have been clear by the '!!!!11one' >.>

Perhaps the issue is you missed "eleven"? It's much clearer if you add that to the end :)

I have a question about Tages. How does it work on a digital download? I looked it up and it seemed to be some sort of thing involving the disc.
