Ok... So I have this idea, :)

it is uh... different, and it will take awhile to crack... (yeah it's back to the codes... but with a unique twist insert evil laugh here.) Well it took me awhile because it wasnt exactly made obvious to even look for anything so.... it was only after my buddy went "you figure it out yet" that I really started looking.

This may or may not take awhile, and well to be honest took me two days to crack. That is not to say that someone else may see it and figure it out really quick...

and... well my idea is to not make a new thread but perhaps put it in another thread, perhaps the promo thread itself... not sure yet as I do not know what the next promo will be. Which to me might be a bit too evil.... but :) dunno yet.

My question to you, how much effort would you be willing to put into getting the answer?

Define effort, for sure something like going to different towns all over the world for clues is rather easy only in movies, games or books :)

I've never been one for crypto, so none at all. Then again, I gave up trying to win contests and such a long time ago, in general (not just GOG).

You should edit your post and word it differently. People who did not see your last code-related thread have no idea what you're on about. Remember to mention the basics. Introduce your topic.

With that said, I might be willing to spend an hour on it if the reward was good and I felt like I had a decent shot at it.

I was going through the gift list and going hmmmmmmm........ no one claimed that game yet, nor has that one been claimed... So my thought on the matter was, find out how much time people might spend, I didnt wanna piss everyone off with an impossible thing...

There are two codes up already (not in this thread) somewhere, but I dont think anyone realized what it was when they saw it even if they saw it at all. I was going through My gifted game section and went hrmmm.... trying to figure out when I posted them has been a pain.

So I was going to make a harder thing and put all three codes in there (another weekend promo) and the other two codes. But I wanted to get a feel for how hard to really make them, as too hard people would give up... too easy and well... then there was the aspect, of making sure that people had an idea that it was a code itself, as well..

anyhow, I will post it friday, and just find out... i guess...for now.....i reallly really should just sleep.

The amount of effort I'm inclined to put in is directly proportionate to my chances of winning. That is to say, the less chance I've got the easier it better be.

To be honest, not sure. It was the weekend gog got shut down so actually they might not be there, dunno but they were in fact not the braile or tap code...

There are two codes in my gift thing that no one has used.... and Im fairly sure they are somewhere... lol just not sure where...
