nijuu: The reason i ask is, the games ive looked at , almost all have a 31 (roughly) hour countdown now to the end of the Summer Sale i assume. If the current Daily Deal ends on 19 (roughly) hours, wont it mean the final Daily Deal will only run for about 12 hours or so? Im guessing a mini recap of best sellers?.
That's because, during this summer sales, daily deals had 12 hours overlap, running for 36h instead of 24. The new deals should be up in about 9h30m.

Apparently the current dailies have oonly 10h overlap insted of 12, maybe they changed it some days ago. I t was 12 on the first days at least.

That said, the 'new' deals may as well be a best-of/recap, althoug, IIRC, they didn't do that in the last few sales (Halloween, Xmas, Spring)

EDIT: ninja'd :)

Search for any game with a discount that is not in a featured sale. Look at its product page and you'll see a timer telling you exactly when the sale ends.
Was Risen 2 on sale at any point?

Yes it was, wasnt that cheap though as the game itself on there normally is 40 quid. It was round about £26 when it was in the sale.

I am hoping it lands again but cheaper this time round. I am also hoping that the first Risen is going to land again before the sale ends.

iainmet: Yeah, there will be deals this evening (6pm in the UK, depends on your timezone), usually what they do is a huge sale with virtually everything that has been on offer over the sale period on the last day so you can pick up stuff you may have missed.

Any deals will end 6pm UK time on Monday evening (Depends on your timezone again) and everything will go back to normal.
Heres hoping they will have a surprise or two left. Not long to find out now.
Happy happy joy joy, Galactic Civilizations 2 at 75% was my number one wish for the end of the sale. I was sick that I didn't have any money to spend this year, but picking this and Recettear up at rock bottom prices is good enough for me. I just have to try not to think about all the stuff I missed out on...

Just keep an eye out, never know it may actually land in a flash sale or community vote again. They are still running them up until 6pm tomorrow night.

If you are at work tomorrow get the Steam app if you have iPhone or Android device, you can purchase stuff easily and it will keep you updated on the last day of the sale.

Will do, thanks.
I actually managed to buy Arma 2 a couple of hours before it went on sale. Whatever, it's an extra couple of quid, but I had been waiting for a discount for about a month!

I was out for my daughters 13th birthday on Friday night and purchased FEAR 3 on my phone, after the purchase it has a button to install the game remotely. So done the remote installation so by the time I got back home at around 10pm the game was there ready to play, really cool!

That's is pretty damn nifty!
Unfortunately, I think the app is iOS and Android only (Blackberry user here).

You can log in to your Steam profile via their website. If you do that you can then access the store in the same way as the Steam client. The website looks exactly the same with Store top left :)

You may have to go through the Steam Guard security where it emails a code to your registered email address but that only takes a few seconds to setup and you are good to go.

I'll keep that in mind, but I think I should be staying indoors for the next 24h so hopefully no fuss required! Thanks for the heads up though!
