JudasIscariot: Wouldn't someone at GOG notice that a particular user is generating a lot of traffic by trying to break the random codes? How many times can someone enter an invalid code before the system stops them because of possible suspicious activity?
yeah, but then we get those 'encoded code' contests - I remember one recently that had a number of possible combinations, apparently even if you knew the cipher, and I tried quite a few before I gave up. Couldn't even tell if I was on the right lines, just that it worked to produce a gog-like code.

There should perhaps be a flag for gog to look into though. Like asking the user to explain themselves.

Detlik: Its inifinite but some people who will randomly input numbers and letters has chance of breaking it and thus stealing your game.
