Maybe you can copy the generic "new user" avatar from someone and replace your avatar with it.

You have to upload a new one. If you want the default back then drag and drop a newbie avatar to your desktop and use that.

You mean revert to the default empty "silhouette" avatar of a newly registered user?
I'm a little curious why you'd want to...or go avatar-less entirely. That E on a black field seems pretty iconic.

Well, it was either avatar-less, or a redesign to my current one. Gonna style it up a little I guess.

This is the current default avatar, change to that image. Though you'll no longer have the "default" if they decide to change the default image later.
