So I want to send a group of people a PM that includes a link to a thread on these forums - how do I do it? I tried the url= that works to embed stuff in forum posts but it didn't seem to work, just posts a non-click worthy text block. Likewise just posting the direct http: ...

What am I missing? Sorry to clutter the forums with something so simple :(

Just copy and paste the address and the PM software makes it into a hyperlink for the other person :D

Once you copy/paste the URL in a PM, if you were to refresh, the link appears "clickable" on your end :D

EDIT: It translates to a link automatically on the receiver's end

Yup that's the one! And Judas I thought I tried that in my second test PM and it didn't work - ah foxworks maybe that's why - I'll give it a shot again now! And wow the forums just ate my last three attempts to post this LOL!
