Rohan15: We went from talking about spam bots to the Chinese economy. Nice.

GameRager: I wish we HAD an economy as straong as the chinese economy.......they became stronger as they loaned us capital and we became weaker. :\
They were stronger before that. All of our major products are like, what, Made in China?
the spam is back again

And will be constantly until GOG go back to work. That's the problem of not having volunteer moderators to continue to remove the spam when the staff are on holiday. So get used to it =)

Stuff: Makes me think there are actual middle school spam classes in China.
Believe me or not, but there is also a spam museum in Minnesota !

Well I don't have a life and hang out here most of the time, just saying GOG, just saying...

These fuckers have to ruin everything, seriously. They don't even want us to buy their shitty products, just artificially boost some miserable pagerank algo on a crappy, third rate search engine.
Teehee, spam bots. Love them.
Robots made out of spam, I sense a squishy plot to take over the world
OMG X.X

I'm trying to down vote every spam I see in the sight.
Ok this is getting out of hand. I log into the forums and see almost the entire front page loaded with spam. PLEASE MAKE IT REGISTER ONLY TO POST.
There's only a couple of actual URLs these guys are promoting, they could simply just ban any mention of those URLs and problem solved.

That can be a problem. If you use a filter and it contains a popular word hilarity ensues when people have to use it. If you flat out ban URLs... well nobody want's that.
We need some sort of magical technology that eats spam, then flushes out the person responsible and teleports them to an island where Hannibal Lecter and Leatherface lives in.

Don't ban URLs, ban the specific ones they are promoting, there's only a couple.
