It seems that GOG games no longer have any visible cover art on their pages. However, if you look at a page's source, you can find images such as this and this. What's the use for them?

So this will also mean that the lgogdownloader cannot download cover images anymore?

Edit: Looks like they are not used on the page itself. But when these meta data stay there the downloader could be adjusted to download those images instead.

Thanks a lot djdarko, I adjusted the list by removing the 3 games which are staying and adding the three I missed.

Not quite, but larger (and wider) versions of them. The catalogue grid/list images have _196 at the end of their filename to denote their width.

Oh, so they are the full sized sale icons. Cool.

They are used with the OpenGraph protocol for sharing the pages on Facebook, etc.

I think they messed up, though, since they have <meta name="og:image" content="blah.jpg"> and it should be property instead of name.
