LOL, I saw it pop up, but I couldn't read it fast enough to see who it was, and I had no clue how to answer, so I came here to answer!!!

LOL, I'm an idiot. I don't know much about Steam at all. Never liked it, boycotted it for years, finally gave in a couple of years ago but still have no clue what I'm doing there.

On your Steam client at the top left you'll see find the option Friends select that and then click on View Friends List. From there you can see who is online and can see all their messages by double clicking on their name. :)

LOL, I want back into Steam just now and now there is a little box, sitting right in the middle of the screen, can't miss it, for me to respond with.

I guess it was there all along???? LOL, the little pop up in the bottom right corner was only up a second or two then disappeared and I didn't realize until leaving here that box was in the middle of the screen.

Technology, maybe one day I'll catch up.
