knootewoot: Look man, i have a new job and a load of money at the moment. Please release Heretic 2 on Gog and i gladly play 50-60 euro. I need that game back as my old CD is gone missing. The game can be played co-op, deathmatch and has a great singleplayer story.

Just be sure it is patched up to the Enhancement patch (i believe 1.06).

tfishell: For right now Amazon/boxed copy will probably be your best bet. While the game does still seem to be an Activision property, and we do have Activision aboard, unfortunately for whatever reason we haven't seen Activision publish many classics here in the past few months.

In addition, it appears this game used a game engine licensed from id Software, so that may complicate things given that id is part of ZeniMax and Z is not here on GOG yet.

knootewoot: Thanks for clearing this up. I will try amazon to find a copy. I once bought the game Breed there for 0.01 pound and Quake4 for 0.63 pound. Maybe i get lucky.

bradelli: My PC would have had no chance of running it. It was 3rd person! So much stuff going on - lighting, character animations, magic effects... needed to be rich to get that game!

jjsimp: Maybe I am remembering the wrong game, but I thought it was First Person. Perhaps, it's Hexen or the first heretic game I remember.
