I really want to see this game again. I remember playing it maybe 10 years ago and I believe it was a point & click adventure game.

I think you started at a plane crash in the jungle and some kind of alien creature was hunting you. Very similar to a predator (from the Schwarzenegger movie) and after maybe 5-10 minutes you could hear a loud noise that sounded like a horn.

When you heard that sound you knew the alien was coming for you. I think you could kill it in multiple ways. With a spear or a bomb for example but if you didn't hurry you would die. At some point in the game you would come to a city but that is all I remember.

I know it is not much but I hope someone will know what game I'm talking about :)

This is probably totally wrong but after reading the first sentence of your discription i thought: flight of the amazon queen. That started with your plane crashing in the jungle but i only played that game for 10 minutes so i don't know if there is an alien but i don't think there is.

I was reminded of the same thing, but didn't want to suggest it, because the only thing they have in common is the plane crash in the jungle. The rest of the game is totally different from what is described.

Are you sure they were aliens? This sounds a bit like Congo. It's basically a P&C adventure game in the jungle and I definitely remember points where you're trying very hard to avoid being violently killed by gorillas.

Although, I suppose that isn't it.

I thought about Bermuda Syndrome (plane crash) but the rest of your story doesn't fit so I think it's not what you are looking for...

I finally found the game! I had already tried google many times but I gave it one last try today with some new words and it sent to me an old walkthrough for the game. Turns out that it is a pretty rare and not very well known game. It is called Alien Earth (1998).

It looks a bit interesting.

It is more than just interesting... It's an awesome game :P and it works perfectly in windows 7 64bit. After installing the game I had to copy the "alien" folder (from CD) to my C drive (c:\alien\) otherwise it would give me an error. Even though you chose full installation it does in fact not copy all of it to your harddisk.
