Auguste: There should be an AGS game where you play as a GoG employee who has to free a video game from the clutches of an evil publisher. :D

Use ULTIMATE PERSUASIVE ARGUMENT on EA
Could it have some RPG ingredients? Quest for Glory V rocked!! I would love to beta-test your game once you have something!
*edit: or add some Woodruff and the Schnibble of Azimuth-style humor..*

Oh, I like this. The environment should have alot of retro and 90s game references, maybe even a Duke speaking punchclown.

Tantrix: maybe even a Duke speaking punchclown.

That has to be the worst degrading... ever.
Almost appropriate :)

Hey, we should make a Gabe and Kotick cameo if we start degrading stuff.

captfitz: I'm going to start using AGS to make an adventure game. I need someone to write the storyline and events in the game, while I do the art and game construction. I'm open to any ideas, I just want to get some actual game creation experience on my resume and keep my art skills sharp during the summer.
Alias and Longtail, I'm sure you've got some ideas kicking around in those crazy heads of yours.

When you wrote AGS, you meant this: Adventure Game Studio?
Is it completely free?

Well gentelmen,
Its been discussed on here before but:
If you're making a game and you want some voice acting done, get the GOG community involved :) It would save you having 2 or 3 generic voices for everyone (see oblivion) and I'd bet just about everyone on here would be happy to do it for free. You've got people from all over the world on this site, so you can pick and choose what voice you want for your characters...
Have a think about it, and when you've got a script together ask around for a few voice samples and go from there :)
oh and btw capt, I'm a developer and I've done a bit of game design myself, if you're stuck on anything, gimmie a bell.
Any progress on this, Captfitz? I'm curious what you've come up with.

School can be rough. Good luck with it.
You gotta include pies in that game... lots and lots of pies. Pies of different kinds, of different shapes and sizes. Mmm... pie...

And when you collect 200 video games, you get the ability to tell your customers you can't continue in your current form. Then you eat their tears to reach the ultimate goal of acquiring Baldur's Gate part 1.
