after I install the unreal gold I get an error message upon trying to launch the game:

unable to execute file
C\programfiles(x86)\GoG.com\unrealgold\GoGwrap.exe
create process failed, code 2
the system cannot find the file specified

anyone know what might be wrong? I have had no problems w/ farcry and torment. I have tried both using just a straight install and the GoG installer, no good. I sure would like to get this game working... All tips given on the GOG website have not helped at all..
my PC is an emachine with windows 7 64bit and I have 6gig ram and my processor is an amd atholon II x2 235e 2.7gig

Maybe try reinstalling ...

Anyway, when you do get it working, I remember that I had to run that game as Administrator if I wanted my saves to actually save.

Thank you for your tips, I don't know how I found it but I found the correct shortcut to get it working... Heh play a game like this really makes you appreciate the grafix of the newer games... but... just like halflife - so much fun!
