It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Vestin: Christ, guys... Click on [your_username]->Account->Playback Setup and uncheck "Always play HD when switching to fullscreen (when available)".
Note: it will then only switch to 480p when in fullscreen, so do yourself a favor and either expand the player (click the double arrow thingy) from the get-go or switch to 480 before preloading.
If it's not magic, then Christ has nothing to do with it anymore.;P
So, You're the second one explaining that to me. I've learned that today while playing Agricola with a couple of guys. Anyhow, thanks for the info.;)

eyeball226: Depending on your settings, it changes to the highest resolution when you fullscreen. This is probably what's happening there. Video loads at 360p or whatever, you click fullscreen and it switches to 720p and has to load again.

EDIT: Vestin answered this already. Gotta read the whole thread before posting!
And You are number 3. ;P Thanks!

hedwards: Depending upon the video and browser it might be that you're loading it via HTML5 support that they've been working on for a while. Although, doubtful, as I don't think they've added ad support yet to their HTML5 version of the site.
I'm using IE8 and I'm pretty sure HTML5 isn't supported by it

Considering this video popped up in my browser today, I'd say YouTube is the most magical place in the world.
