awalterj: Winners have been drawn, the giveaway is now concluded.

Thanks to everyone who participated and also to lugum for sharing a story without participating.
But most of all, a big thank you to ddickinson for adding a second code to this giveaway, increasing the chances of winning from 8.33% to 16.66%! There were 12 valid entries. The purpose of making participants share isn't just entertainment, in this case I also had to know that you are at least a little bit insane just to make sure you'll like Harvester because it's positively bonkers and makes you do some bonkers things in-game.

Please make sure to give thanks to ddickisnon, over here for example:

And now on to the 2 lucky winners for Harvester. The winners were drawn via paper raffle, using my custom made GOG giveaway raffle box. I used chopsticks instead of my hands to draw the winners just in case they turn insane after playing this game. Thanks to the chopsticks, no blood will be on my hands!

Winner 1:
Roman 5

Winner 2:
Oasis 789

Congratulations both of you and again thanks to everyone else for posting.
And again, don't forget to thank ddickinson for the awesome generosity of contributing one of the two codes.
This is the best Giveaway I have seen on these forums

not because of the prizes but because you actually written the names of the contestants on paper and made an actual raffle

mad props to you for that ^^

thanks for the game!

You're welcome and congrats! Now you don't have to deal with meat that's 2 years past expiration, plenty of fresh meat in Harvester...
It's almost therapeutic to draw the winners in this traditional paper way rather than digitally via random.org. Reminds me of when I was a kid and participated in a raffle but now I get to do the raffle drawing myself which is even more fun.

PS: If the mouse cursor is too slow, you might have to adjust "sensitivity" to a higher value in the "dosbox_harvester" config file. I set it to 250 for now, in my case the vertical speed is slower than the horizontal speed which requires an additional tool to fix but I was too lazy to fiddle diddle daddle with stuff like that so I just increased the overall sensitivity to 250, most of the time you move the cursor horizontally anyway so if vertical speed is a bit slower it's no big deal.

You're welcome Oasis789, judging by your contribution you sound shrewd enough to not only survive but thrive in this game :)

As I pointed out here, you might have to adjust the mouse sensitivity for this game.
