Ummm, wasn't the Keaneversary 2 days ago?

At any rate, Never Forget.
I nearly cracked in half because of laughing, when people started to write reviews for the game, just to make it sell faster.

That means you can still read the proof for the real happening of the Keaning in the reviews of Jack Keane2. The Keaning is real.

I'm not sure that's what you intended, but it's probably not far from accurate...

May the Kean guide you in your darkest hours of insomnia.
May he bring sleep in the middle of a sale.
May he one day return to this place to give joy and laughs.
As it is written in reviews, so shall it be.
All hail Kean.

Let me leave this poem written by Cardian

Once upon a midnight Keaning, while I pondered weak and screening,
Through many a quaint and curious pages of forgotten lore,
Couldn't nod off, quite insanely, suddenly, when there were mainly
Good deals that would seem ungainly, plainly there came up one more.
"'Tis some good old game," I muttered, "that has not been up before -
Only this, and nothing more."

Ah, distinctly I remember, it was in the bleak November,
And each seperate, waking member flipped through pages more and more.
Eagerly we wished the next deal; - vainly we had skipped the lunch meal
Hunger, thirst, that we could not feel - not feel like we did before.
Like the joy and lust for gaming that we used to feel before -
Feelings gone forevermore.

And the ticking, mocking scoffer of each new uncertain offer
Thrilled me - filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before;
So that now, to still the beating of my heart , I stood repeating
"'Tis some game entreating entrance to this sale of yore -
Some good old game entreating entrance to this sale of yore; -
This it is, and nothing more."

Presently my sould grew stronger; hesitating then no longer,
"Blood," said I, "or Reus, this could really be a chore;
For the fact is you're mundanely, and you're also quite profanely,
And you also seem ungainly, mainly due to your low score.
I don't really want to buy you" - here I looked straight at the store; -
Retro Rampage... nothing more.

Hard, right at the counter, peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;
But the silence was soon broken, for the counter showed a token
Of 600 games and spoken were the whispered words, "No more."
This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the words, "No more!"
Merely this and nothing more.

Back into the forum turning, all my soul within me burning,
When I could not see a ticking of the counter in the store.
"Surely," said I, "that's not meaning that we are in for a Keaning.
Let me see then, slightly leaning, and this mystery explore -
Let my heart be still a moment and this mystery explore;-
"It just froze and nothing more!"

Reload then I hit and waited, the request be circulated,
Nothing changed, hundreds remaining, wondering what to do more.
For we cannot help agreeing that for every human being
that survived the phase of Keaning in the hours just before,
in the long lasting time of The Keaning in the hours just before
we all thought "Oh, Nevermore!"

Retro City, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
on the good old gaming front page teasing us, being a bore.
And its numbers, they are meaning, that this is a phase of Keaning.
Seems that we were overweening, we are punished with one more.
So that now that this is seeming to be the end of this chore,
Quoth The Keaning, "Nevermore!"

May the Keane be with you all. May he be with you all on this most celebratory of days, and may his guidance come back to us one day. Happy Keane-ing to each and every one of you. ^_^

Haha, my bad, I did mean "deprived". Depraved is just normal modus operandi by now ;) Thanks for the heads-up!

EDIT: epic poems and a bunch of haiku were the best things to come out of the first Insomnia sale!
