reaver894: I dont drive a 4x4 but id be fucking pissed off if my car got scratched, was only resprayed 4 weeks ago

orcishgamer: If it's a car, meant for the road, the sure. I wouldn't want my imaginary Porche scratched either. But we're talking trucks modified with all sorts of off road gear that have seen nothing more rough than a tailgate party.

If someone have a work truck and they use it for work or serious play (including off road) it probably won't be all that pretty. If they have a truck merely to advertise how "manly" they are I think they're toolbags.
true, but even if it were an offroader id be careful for a little while. If i scratched it within a week id be pissed still

HereForTheBeer: What do rough-and-tumble outdoorsy off-roader types have in common with teenaged video game-playing couch potatoes?

Why, a Jeep, of course. http://www.jeep.com/en/callofduty/

For a $7,000 premium over the Jeep Rubicon upon which it's based, you can feel regret for buying the Modern Warfare 3 Edition when MW4 comes out next year. For that much, you'd think it would come with a copy of the game...

orcishgamer: So I think the market they're aiming at is "toolbags", it's the analog equivalent of e-peen:)
You may be right. Jeep is a hollow shell of what it was ten years ago, watered-down by the Compass and Patriot, and even by the Liberty which totally screwed the pooch as a replacement for the Cherokee. You know Jeep has lost its way when it takes a Dodge Caliber (Neon replacement), throws on a truck-ish body, and slaps on the Jeep label. Sad, sad, sad.

But hey - them MW3 stickers and seat covers sure are neat-o!
Odd marketing strategy, considering most MW players aren't old enough to drive.
Let's try posting again and see if GOG will actually put it in the right topic...

They could at least have gone the extra mile and offered a full blown itasha. Anything less just isn't worth the money.

If I needed a tough off-roader, I certainly wouldn't buy anything new. A ten-year-old Landcruiser or a Defender can be had for much less money, and so it wouldn't be such a worry if it got scratched and dirty.
not only does the description make me cringe, the entire product page is a single, concentrated insult to any veteran. i can only wonder what a real SEAL or SAS operator would think looking at that page...

Probably something knife related.
