My original Dune CD. The first game, that is. Thought I lost it. And it runs no prob in DosBox.

i loved that game back then expacily the death scene that you went the wrong way felled on the ground and turned into a skeleton.

Which Dune, ive got Dune 2000 around here somewhere unopened.

i miss those good old big boxes, I was a big nerd back then feeling the boxes at the store that time and the heavier the better :)

I just repacked all my big boxes in new plastic tubs in preparation for moving. Yeah, I kind of don't miss them, I mean, when they filled them up with stuff, sure, but most of them were a CD and some 3 page excuse for a manual.

thats true also but there were companies who made an afford in putting things extra in it. Eye of the beholder 2 had a hintbook for the first few dungeons and description of those monsters. And off course the infamous manual copy protection.

But those things are almost as big as cereal boxes! Heavy ones scare me the most because it might not be a manual but 25+ floppies*. ;)

25? and i tought 7 for a game was alot, pls insert disc 1 hey another entrance pls insert 3. Eye of the beholder 2 was the first disc the disc that you put your saves on and they warned me to make a copy of disc 1.

No please don't bring Sam&Max up....I remember playing the no talkie because it's all the abandonware sites had and I never did find a copy anywhere at the time(no CC or net at the time.)

there was a time that you could buy a console today with the price of a cd rom drive back then. ahahah single speed, double speed.
