So I have one of these JoyTech Neo gamepads that look and feel quite nice, much like an original XBox controler (once they were shrunk at least) except that for some stupid reason someone decided to swap the sticks over so the left stick is recognised by windows as rudder / throttle and the right is x and y axis
Now, I tried a few different things to resolve this and eventually gave up and tried to get used to playing cack-handed
That was until I tried to play 'Breath of Death VII' and I found that it only supports XBox controllers, not the old DirectX ones, then I found X360CE which not only allows me to make the gamepad work as a XBox 360 one, but also lets me re-map the sticks to whatever the heck I want, which is nice, but yeah, only supports games that support XBox controllers, when I go play something old like Driver I'm back to square one
Does anyone know of anything free that will let me re-map my stick and stay in DirectX? I know I could probably just get a damn 360 controler for around £10 but damn I'm poor right now!
Maybe I could use X360CE together with something else that picks up Xbox inputs and converts them back to Direct X? I tried XBCD but I couldn't seem to get it working...
Cheers in advance guys!
