Cliftor: Well, the setting alone, as its been described to me, is unique and can hold my interest. It's sorta post-apocalyptic Victorian/fantasy light industry. Not really steampunk, but not quite alternate fantasy history. I'm hoping for Lovecraftian influence, Victorian mysticism, secret cults, abominations, and novel retro-technology.

That would certainly appeal, steampunk influences or no.
Okay, so there are various new pictures up on the media section, but the big news is...

They have a video!

It's not much, but it shows how good the game is looking at this very early stage. Hopefully this will mean more videos (some with monsters/fighting would be nice) in the near future.

It looks good! I'll have to keep an eye on it, looks like something I'd have fun playing.

nice graphics, doesn't really say much about the game though.
Well, they seem to be taking their time, but I am still interested in this project. Does anyone know what's the status? When are they planning to release something? Are they adding features or still working on a core (or engine)? Also I am thinking about Pre-Order, but after 2+ years of waiting I am not sure if they are ever going to finish the game. Though, on the other hand, I guess it shows how persistent they are!
Nothing except what's on the website. Interestingly, this is the only game I know about so where getting into the alpha and betas are more expensive then waiting for the finished game.

Guess they can afford not going down the alpha funding route, still, AFAIK, other games before where you pre-order and got access to betas, have so far not been more expensive then waiting.

Thanks for info! Maybe I'm dumb or sth, but what does "TBA In-game accessory" mean? What is TBA and is it worth to pay more for it...

To Be Announced. Basically it means they have not decided what it is yet.

(By the way, never be afraid to ask questions - "There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers")

But come to think of it, we probably won't see the game for at least two years. It doesn't seem to me like alpha will be coming this year. And then there's beta, polishing the game, fixing bugs ...
2014? Hell, in two years I can create my own short campaign in Titan Quest (someone wrote here that it has great construction toolkit) or mod the shit out of Torchlight. And, I guess, Torchlight 2, Diablo III and Sacred 3 will have been released by that time. Long, long way... Shame, because it looks really epic at the moment :(
its farther along then you think... Crate's team is the size of Runic at TL1 release... its not to much longer... the worlds nearly there, its all about population story and tweaking some classes... we'll see something playable this year (maybe a release) defiantly next year it'll be out... they actively respond to there Facebook and forums, if you have any questions

It's a long shot but I think it's well worth so I pre-ordered the Loyalist edition. :)
