I've had level 90's and 50's removed a at least twice from Diablo 2 because I didn't play for too long. Not that it bothers me too much.

Not too long ago some phisher sent me a whisper in game saying how I got in the cataclysm beta. It was pretty lol.

I once saw a bunch of identical characters form messages and the address of a phishing site.
It was crazy.

No shit getting like 10+ mails form "Blizzard" or "Battle.net" heck seems like I've won 100+ Cataclysm beta keys!
Funny it took'em only two months to notice that ...


Seems like Gmail marks then automatically as "Spam" tho.

Was referring to WoW as it's a subscription based game and Diablo is not.

after a week of ignoring them my mail box started to auto spam them :)

First thing I did when B.Net changed to the email login was change my email associated with it.

I get about 20 fake emails a week, sometimes more, all to my old email account. The one I changed it to has never gotten a phishing email.

If you've never changed the email associated with your b.net account, I strongly recommend you do so. It's pretty funny to see Blizzard account verification emails on an email addie that hasn't been associated with b.net ever since it switched formats.

I got several over the course of a few weeks a while back. I forwarded them all to hacks@blizzard.com.
