"Kongregate Arcade [offers] support for over 300 Flash games on the Android. Exciting stuff, considering how woefully below standards the Android OS is when it comes to mobile gaming,"
-Jim Sterling, Destructoid

Well, the app is available at http://www.kongregate.com/android or directly at http://cdn2.kongregate.com/assets/files/0000/1998/KongregateArcade-stock-release.apk so one just has to get it without using the market. Still a stupid act by Google. Most people use their iPad/iPod/iPhone/iWhatever for gaming, now Google gets itself in the way of becoming a gaming platform...

Have they mentioned why they pulled the app yet? Might be something valid like security concerns or the fact that so much of kongregate is complete shit that even gameloft would think twice about releasing

They banned it because you can download software with it. Oh well, why is Kindle not banned, being essentially the same?

And no, I didn't try that app yet.
Well the kindle application (at least on winphone7) is account locked, maybe that makes a difference

Not sure which Kindle app you've been using, but mine only downloads ebooks, not software.

Correct. There's a HUGE difference between a document file and executable code.

Unless it's a PDF :P

xyem: Unless it's a PDF :P
And even then there's a difference if the reader supports running the executable code or not.

Yes, I know :)

But as far as I know, the Kindle does!

Don't hold me to that though, I don't know much about the Kindle :P

I can't say I've noticed any executable options on the PDFs I've used on my kindle (though they are few so its hardly conclusive)

I hadn't but it looks pretty swanky. Gives me the idea to write a recipe database application using a similar concept
