Firek: Ahh, I remember when I got Wing Commander III as a kid and, before we drove to our hometown (original games were hard to come by in Poland back then, so we bought them in Warsaw), we stopped at a KFC and, rather than eating anything, I was reading the manuals, the ship specs and descriptions... Good times. :)
Hehe reminds me of when I got Their Finest Hour: The Battle Of Britain, it took me an hour or so to actually realise that I got a game with this awesome history book

Ooooh, thanks for the memory jog. I remember that damn copy-protection wheel giving me a ton of trouble. Still, a great game. I wish LucasArts would release their back catalog on GOG.

I only have the original 5.25 floppy release of Wing Commander 1, the 6 CD version of Wing Commander IV + novelization, Wing Commander Prophecy and the movie on DVD...
I'd love to have the Privateer games ... and Strike Commander ... and obviously Wing Commander 2 and 3. Should probably try to find the Kilrathi Saga.
