So, I was recently reading this Let's Play, and I thought I'd like to do something fairly similar. That is, a roleplaying screenshot LP of Arcanum because I love Arcanum and I love roleplaying and it seems fun and potentially more interesting that a standard commentary LP. SO, getting to the point, I was wondering if anyone knew of a good screencap software for easily taking in-game screenshots? I can think of a couple of options off the top of my head, but none of them are optimal: 1. Perhaps most obviously, using Print Screen. The problem with this is that it requires constantly alt-tabbing to paste the picture into Paint or PS or whatever, which is flow-breaking and could get tiresome very quickly. 2. Evolve has a Steam-style screenshot option, but I don't think it works with Arcanum (I vaguely recall trying it a while ago, I'll make sure later though). 3. Filming a video and then cutting it into pictures. This might be the easiest to find a program for, but would require a fair bit more work than just using screenshots, so I'd really rather not.
So basically I'm looking for a free program that'll let me press a button to create a screenshot that'll be saved automatically to a directory so I don't have to do the constant back-and-forth of Print Screen-ing. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks! :)
