my earbuds are dying, they've lasted 5 years, Klipsch S2. They had great sound but im getting static in a driver. Its getting to the point that i need to wiggle the wire more than listen to the music. So im in the market for some replacements.

I have some tiny ears so thats a factor, and a reason why i like earbuds over headphones. that and its hard to find a good pair or behind the head headphones that had decent sound and don't hurt my ears after while.

How much did you pay for your Klipsch pair? I'm also looking for some new earbuds, every pair that I buy seems to last only about a year. I currently own a pair of Sennheiser's but I'm looking for something that'll last me a while.
I bought them new prior to release rather i had the pre s2 and then they broke and Klipsch upgraded me free very nice of them... it was $50ish back when i had money :)

anyways i found a site http://www.head-fi.org/ they rate and review headphones... for what i need it sounds silly but they have some valid points for "Skullcandy Titans" there under $20 and rather nice.

there are some JVC Xtreme ones but thay are a little to chnky and dont really work for tiny ear people.

Then there are Klipsch S4's which have thousands of positive reviews, a little pricey but they have a very common issues of the cord guide from the bud shredding apart after a few months of use.
