How good are Postal 2 and Painkiller? What games (shooter) you've played much hours because it's very fun? I want a addictive game, not one wich I'll stop playing after a few minutes.

Postal is fun at first because of the freedom and stupid crap you can do, but once that novelty wears off I didn't enjoy it that much. Painkiller is just frantic fun. I've played through it a few times and the multiplayer is really fun aswell (not sure if people still play it online or not).
My GOG FPS recommendations:
Shogo: Mobile Armor Division
Painkiller (Minimum requirement is 1.5 GHz Processor so it should run fine on your system.)

Non GOG FPS:
Half-Life 2
Halo: Combat Evolved

I kinda felt that way about Postal too. I thought it was great that the first couple of missions is just seemingly mundane stuff like buying milk. Being violent is completely optional. I thought that was pretty genius. But then turns into a fairly generic shooter near the middle. Still, I have to say it was pretty fun while it lasted, if just for the stupid stuff you can do.

Painkiller is just nonstop action. You go into a room, kill a bunch of enemies that spawn, then go to another room, repeat. Sounds kind of boring, but it's executed quite well, and through some inventive weapons and enemies it doesn't feel boring as you progress through it. I'd highly recommend it if you're in the mood for pure action.

WTH?! no one mentioning MDK?
MDK 1 and 2 are just plain awesome and a must buy if you haven't played it before!

And +1 to Painkiller , just the best "twitch" "old school" style FPS , even if you can only run it on lower setting still a blast to play
I bought Painkiller. The game gave me a good impression. Thanks for everyone! : ))

Vlidi: Ho, that's good to know then. I was wondering if I'll rebuy it or not for myself too.

About Postal 2, I find it hard to advise it to someone. It's a game like no other, and it goes far beyond Duke Nukem about the irreverence and humour. I love it, but I understand that some people can't stand it.

Maybe could we add Kingpin ? I never done it, but with all the things I read about it, that's one of my next buy on GoG after all my RPG crazyness I think
It runs OK, it's just fussy. For some reason certain resolutions seem to cause it to crash and I'm not sure that anybody has figured out how to get it to stop crashing. I think the conclusion folks made was that the game itself doesn't handle non-standard resolutions very well. Also it doesn't seem to play very well with my anti-key logger software.

EDIT: You'll be happy with Painkiller, it's the one FPS I've played that understands that plot, story and narrative have nothing to do with the FPS genre. I just wish they could've worked in more clowns and pirates.
