Hi !

Just a thought, as there is quite a lot of genorosity flying about on GOG at the minute it occured to me that if someone wanted to gift me (or any other user) something from GOG but either didn't know what to get them, or they currently didn't really want much, then how about giving online credit to buy if and when something does crop up they want.

Cheers

Sounds like it could be open to abuse ...

How so......?

Don't know how to explain it really, but I wouldn't feel as comfortable sending someone money as I would be just buying a game ... call me picky, but that's just the way I feel.

Yeah thinking on it a bit deeper it could cause some potential issues if people lost their user/pass and also if someones details got stolen (gog forbid)

Or Paypal randomly close your account ...
Was thinking of a more GOG based credit thing rather than PayPal.

Just a thought :)

After all, gaming isn't the worst habit some people have to feed.
What, like the Steam Wallet only GOG lets you gift money as well?

Yeah, I think you just hit the nail on the head.

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking of :)
Is that a gold bar in your purse or are you just happy to see me?
Why bother setting up a system like that when they could just let you buy gift cards for 5.99 or 9.99?

Well yeah equally good idea but surely making it flexible enough to handle any amount of money rather than just 5.99 or 9.99. would be far more user friendly.

for example when GOG run promotions you may want to buy the whole package rather than just individual titles.
