Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows if GOG is looking at bringing those classic d&d games from the Gold Box series from SSI?? I talk about the Dragonlance series, the Forgotten Realms series and the Buck Rodgers Series.. Some titles include Champions of Krynn (Dragonlance) and Pools of Radiance (Forgotten Reams)
I heard a bit about these games on the Online Gamer's Anthology (Episodes 16 and 17). Pretty keen to check them out.

They are great games that are worth checking out.
The combat is turn-based, and each battle can take a loooong time, so it's a bit of a departure from todays' games. You have to have patience.
Something you also have to have is the printed manual and adventurer's guide that came with each game.
Even if you found a copy of the game that has had the copy protection removed, you couldn't really enjoy the game because you don't have the adventurer's guide. Due to memory restraints, the dialogue was all written down in a journal that came with the game.
You might get to a place in the game where you speak with an NPC, and you are told that the conversation was recorded as an entry in the journal. You would have to go to the paper journal to advance the plot.

That's great DRM there.
