my cousin sent me a torrent of Neverwinter Night Diamond so i could play something for a while. Now i want to play online with him but when i try and enter the same server as him it says the CD Key is already in use on that server. So I uninstalled it from my comp, Ordered it from GOG.com, installed it from the GOG downloader, and its still saying the same thing. Any ideas???

you have to request a valid key from GOG.

if you read the game details it states you need to contact support to get a MP key issued.

Yeah, contact GOG support and request a unique multiplayer key. You'll get it within a day.

It'd be nice if they had an automated system with a "dispense key" button when you click on the game on your shelf (obviously once the key has been granted, it simply appears there instead of the button in the future.

EDIT: I just realised I haven't claimed any keys for any of my games (mainly because I haven't tried to play any online). I think I would like to claim the keys now just in case, partially because I'm entitled to them and partially so I can back them up with my installers in case GOG ever goes down.

Does anyone know a definitive list of all the games that can require keys?

The UT2004 product page doesn't say anything about requesting a multiplayer key. Also, the Sacred Gold product page now says this:

ut 2k4 , needs the key only for some legacy servers which check the cd-key before connecting. most of other servers dont do this
