Aatami: I will. But only if the server has a good ping. I hate bollocks servers :(

The server will be hosted in the UK for a one month trial period as most of us seem to be from the EU; this means that US players should have around 140-150 ping which is playable without issues.
We'll try to add a server in the US in the future if everything goes well as well as implementing HLStatsX for stats tracking.
Players in Australia and other regions may have some lag issues but at this point we can't really do anything about it unfortunately.

Would you be looking at the (paid) actual HLstatsX, or d'you think you could get away with the (free) HLstatsX: CE? If you could, that would help cut down on server fees.
BTW, if you need/want a domain/site, I can probably hook you up with something. Let me know.

Edit: Also, out of curiosity, would the US server be west or east coast? From the “guess what the countdown's for” thread, it seems that a lot of GOGers are in EST, but I don't know what the division's like for those up for TF2.

Can't really talk about the US server at this point because we haven't though about any specifics regarding it; when we are certain we can make it happen we'll conduct a poll in the playerbase to see what part of the US is dominant and make a decision accordingly.
We already have a EU map download server in place for faster map download and I'm going to talk to GOG to see if they're interested in forwarding tf2.gog.com to our server.
Regarding HLStatsX, we'll see what we'll do after we finish bringing the server online and doing all the configs.
