So as he topic says i just wanna know if any GOG Community members are playing this game and if you are interested teaming up from time to time.

since i´m partr of this community i´m amazed about the generosity and politeness of every member here. Can´t remember a single topic where anyone was flamming.

So i thought this are the right people to have some fun in multiplayer matches.

So thats my reason to start this topic.

I don't visit as often as I used to, but there was a period where I saw constant posts bickering over the little things. Maybe it's just me, but quite a bit of that has died down.

On the topic of Dungeon Defenders, are you referring to the Steam version of the DRM-Free copies playable through GameSpy?

Can't they multiplayer together?

Or were you just going to cast him out if he said Steam? :P
I don´t refer to any version of the game atm. I tried the demo and really liked the style off the game but to get a great online experience i think it needs good players to and i hoped to find them here on gog.

Than i would buy the game (maybe even make a gifting)

To be true, i didn´t know that the other versions are playable through gamespy.

I there are any opinions where to buy best i would like to hear them.

I have no Problem with steam it´s easy and convenient most of the time. But for the good old games i go for GOG obviously ;)

Offtopic on:

For NWN 2 e.g. i brought that on Steam at ther last sale because it was too templting with a price around 7 €. Here on gog i think it will still take it´s time to arrive and to get a good deal anywhere in the net seems to be impossible.

FYI all versions of the game come with a Steam key. So you can choose to add the game to Steam in order to play ranked matches, etc.

So basically, buying from anywhere other than Steam nets you a DRM free version plus optional Steam key (and currently whatever pet is offered as a bonus, which can be used from level 1), while buying from Steam means you get the 4 or so TF2 pets and portal gun (none of which can be used until you're level 20 sommat) but no DRM version.
I read somewhere that you need to activate it on Steam to play it online. Is this true?

Nope. You play via Gamespy or via Steam -- although you have to add the key to Steam, to be able to play via Steam.

For the record, GamersGate display the following message in the My Games section:

* To access the exclusive Agro Dragon pet, enter the Tavern inside the game and it will be added to your Item Box automatically.

* The game is DRM free itself, but customers also receive a Steam Redeem code.
I've got the Computer version and the PS3 version (ps3 is in 3d.... and well I'm a sucker hehe)

send me a pm
Hmmm, maybe we should organise a group buy on GamersGate? It's 3 for the price of four so everyone would save a quarter. Now, which region has the lowest price?
I was kindly gifted a copy here but am neck deep in Arkham City. I'll check back into this thread in a few weeks. Dungeon Defenders is next on my list once I get it and Uncharted 3 out of the way. :)
an organised buy sounds good for me. In germany a 4-games pack from steam is 34,99€ instead of 4*11,99 €, thats a bit more than 25% less for each license.
