Anybody got an idea for the timetable for this?
I remember reading somewhere that GOG said it might be implemented in a few months?
Not that I know of.
A few months could be like a few days.......

Sometime this year, to coincide with the choice to pay for older (non-regionally priced) games in your currency to avoid currency exchange fees.
You would think it would be introduced with GOG Galaxy. So, that's the end of August if so.
Though I could be wrong, I took it as one of those things people hope is on galaxy but nothings been confirmed, did I miss something?

No, I remember them saying it was something that was coming.

Probably the Back to our Roots Statement or the Original Statement for regional pricing.

It was Getting back to Our Roots.
"In a couple of months, once we have such functionality implemented, we will give you store credit instead, which then you will be able to use towards any purchase and cover the price of it in full or partially."
Posted 11 March, 2014. 4 months and counting...

Thanks, Pheace for that. I was having a devil of a time trying to remember where I had read it.

I'm pretty sure that GOG does! ;-P

Jokes aside, I'd risk a guess and say around the same time as the anticipated site-wide overhaul, which should come around the same time as the GOG Galaxy client or shortly after.

Definitely. Implement GOG Wallet and Gift cards. For that someone who spends 3 hours choosing a film to watch, now they can spend their time choosing games as well! Without you having to wait for them! :D

Indeed, both at once would be the best all round scenario. And I would love it. :D
