fursav: Apparently, gog does not get the source code for games. They use old CDs that they can find on ebay. I wonder if they could ask the community for CDs of games they can't find?
They mentioned that a few times. And you know why? Because those scumbag right holders never bothered on storing those! Honestly, we need a gaming museum for the source codes.

Pirates and the used games market (remember, those to "destroy gaming") did more for the preservation of games than most of the freaking companies!

Well, it makes sense. The companies are in it for the money, not the art for the lack of a better phrase. I really do wish GOG could get access to the source code in order to provide mod support.

LOL, FFS.
Haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but quite interesting. Especially the discussion about DRM I think if phrased well: The only people who will experience your DRM are your customers. People who pirate the game will have the DRM cracked three weeks before it comes out or some such.
I'm glad to hear GOG doesn't mind releasing the more, uh, well, hated titles. Otherwise the completionist in me would go nuts.

Somtimes, those hated titles don't deserve all the hate as well.

Who is this Trevor Longino guy? I swear, I've been at GOG for a little minute now and I have yet to see anyone named Trevor Longino. Other staff members refer to this mysterious person but always in the third person. I did see a rather enigmatic hat, though :D

Look behind you,

a two-headed squirrel!

Edit: I know it would be more funnier in a few hours, but before someone will steal my joke I better ruin it myself ;-)

I actually listened to all of that. While a good number of things they've touched on I already knew about, it still was quite enjoyable. It's probably most useful and informative to new folks around these parts.
