There are plenty of good games on Kickstarter that needs funding and someone to distribute them. I think that is a good opportunity for GOG and CDProject to get excellent games in the catalogue, and to build ties with great talents. The best time to invest is before someone or something becomes well known, so seed projects could go a long way for GOG's future.
There is another aspect to this as well - not only would these projects have people donating to see them developed, but that also serves as a measuring stick for how well the game would sell. They often include trailers and screenshots, so there is concrete evidence that there is something there in my opinion. This makes it easier to determine whether or not they are worth investing in, because kickstarters without concept art and footage feels a bit like vaporware.
I am not if GOG staff would read this post, so I have a request for readers who support this notion: In the wishlist section, there are wishes about this subject that could use votes.
Here is a bunch of games that are on Kickstarter that I think are worth looking into, along with their genre and funds. One of them is especially notable, that being Castle Story. That particular game could be a potential breakout title for GOG, if the overfunding is any indication.

Arcane Worlds
This one is a bit different. No Kickstarter here, but I think there is enough demonstration videos to show that this developer has merit, and the game itself could be well worth investing in on CDProject's part. Basically a clone of Magic Carpet, this game could potentially bring a strategy-fps hybrid back to life in my opinion, and make it popular with some help.
The biggest problem in my opinion is that the game closely resembles Magic Carpet to a fault. This could result in the developer being sued by Microsoft, so I think the developer would need additional content and gameplay mechanics to further set it apart. Perhaps having an number of settings, such as Greek and Hindu to the mix would help?
