I lost weeks to this game back in the day. I know quite a few people that would love to see this game resurrected.

Back in the day!? XD I bought the original Lode Runner when it came out, never even heard of this one but the series is classic so I'd be game for anything, though I wasn't aware GOG carried "online" games.

The online portion of the title just refers to the fact that it has multiplayer like LAN and such, as far as I know there weren't any official servers or such.
It's just an enhanced version of Lode Runner with better graphics, a couple of power-ups and new enemies.
Would be great to have it here, although people really should just use the wishlist.

Might be interesting to know that one of the designers has a page about it that features (broken) links to the game.

The CDROM link is broken, but the regular version isn't.

That being said, I'd love for GOG to get a copy of the CDROM version, I'd definitely pay for it.

Good Idea!

I really enjoy the remake Lode Runner: The Legend Returns, you even had the possibility to make maps yourself, which was pretty rad those days...
