Why do you feel the need to attempt and be so offensive out of nowhere? We're all here because we love games, I happen to love arcade and other such retro games as well and post about such things excitedly as I see fit. It's not like I signed up yesterday and made that my first post. Not that any decent human being shouldn't give me the benefit of the doubt even if that was in fact the case.
I didn't see any rule about posting in old threads when it's so easy for administrators to lock older threads automatically (and I have posted in such before, like when asking about and offering help with setting up certain games, oh God I'm so horrible), though I may have missed it, but I'm sure that if I had created a new thread about this you would just present your intentions a little bit differently yet reach the same conclusion about me just because you happen to be indifferent to things I enjoy (yet still care enough to post apparently).
I'm not even sure if you're calling me that because of Apple, ION, Classic Game Room, SNK, or even DotEmu which would be funny since I've just posted on the DotEmu forums about the same topic (it's my very first post there, I only signed up to congratulate them for the Raiden Legacy and Metal Slug 3 ports) where I happened to once again mention that my go to service for PC games is gog instead of DotEmu and how I have over 40 games on here but nobody called me a corporate shill there.
The same goes for when I post about gog (and any other company and its products) in other gaming forums I frequent. Anyway, I've already wasted more energy than I should have about this. So long, friend, happy holidays and get well soon. I'm so sorry for you.

I have to say, we are a few years further... and I finally managed to save enough money to buy a new pc... laptop... (MacBook Pro to be exact).
And now I finally started buying my old catalogue of games again on GOG...
Never mind iOS, it is a sheer joy to re-play the classics on OSX :-)
Thank you GoG!!
Just bought a whole new set of Electronic Arts classics... I'm off to play Theme Park now ;-)

i-pad and hardcore games don't go well with eachother either. Anyway, it'll be really difficult to do that since other than the operating system issues, we also have hardware that' radically different from the hardware the games were designed to run on. And patching that for a small Apple store community of hardcore gamers doesn't sound near to profitable.

I don't think so, it wouldn't work. I think the iPad is fine as it is! I just wish RCT4 weren't as crap as it is.
