I now see in the bottom right corner that GOG now takes AMEX. You don't know how awesome you guys are :) Every time I used a prepaid Visa or Mastercard on here, it wouldn't accept, and I can't use Paypal because I'm only 16. Anyway thank you very much GOG.com team! With AMEX now being accpeted, I can use American Express gift cards on here, right? I'm thinking about getting a $25 card soon and I really want to use it on here.

Probably, unless the particular issuer has a US only policy.

Prepaid cards sometimes have restrictions like that.

I'm guessing it should work, thanks!
Actually I was in Nieman Marcus today and was SHOCKED they started taking Visa and MC!

Most stores don't take Amex because their transaction fees are quite a bit higher than Visa/MC are so they don't want to bother with them.
If they can take an AMEX Gift card I could trade my iPod touch for the giftcard with my friend and finally be able to buy games on my own. Instead of hoping to win contests on here and asking friends to buy for me. :p
I found this on the FAQ for gift cards

"Are there usage restrictions on the Card?
The Card is for use within the United States, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and cannot be used at Cruise Lines, Casinos, and ATMs or for recurring billing purchases (cellular phone service, subscriptions, etc.). Usage restrictions also apply for international airlines. See Terms and Conditions for further details on Card usage.
The eGift Card may be used at Merchants in the United States that accept the American Express Card. Because there is no physical card associated with an eGift Card, it may not be accepted by Merchants for in-store purchases.

If you experience any difficulty in making a purchase online or via phone, please call 1-866-608-3754 for assistance."

Since I live in the U.S., does this mean I can't use it on here?

It may not work as GOG is not based in the US.

I'll try my luck and see what happens, thanks though! And just out of curiosity, does anyone know any prepaid cards in the U.S. that can be used on GOG.com?

Same reply basically. Depending on the card (wether or not it allows international purchases) it may or may not work.

If it doesn't work, I'll just ask my friend to buy it for me. Either way I'll be fine, thanks though!
Has anybody tried the AMEX Gift card yet on here? Or better yet. Can a GOG staff chime in and help us out here?
