Chihaya: 1 release a week is simply pathetic and not enough. Impulse has had all the Age of Wonders games for WEEKS. I'm not going to wait my own sweet time just for GOG to space them out. I bought them from Impulse. These games have ALREADY been playtested for work on modern operating systems.

2 releases a week was already slow enough.

maciek: totally agree, but quantity isn't necessarily quality..

Chihaya: It's always the same few games that go on sale because they release almost nothing.

I can't believe all the times they have a sale and I'm hit with "sorry, you already own all the games in this promo". Duh of course, it's already been on sale 3-4 times before.

maciek: a bit exaggerating, don't you think? i was pleasantly surprised with the last promo for instance, with some of the recent additions discounted..

btw. do you have time to play all those games? :) i still have a huge back-log of games and a constantly growing wishlist, although I take advantage of almost every promo..
Yes I have a lot of time, and am more interested in older PC games than newer releases for the most part.

Of course I don't play everything, at least not instantly, but I just like having a big selection of games to pick and choose from on my laptop.
"Its like jet lag. We want our steady rhythm. Nothin to look forward for tuesdays anymore? And I don't trust wednesday either!"

Arggghhh, I declare my GOG rhythm to be completely out of sync and will try not to access the site too often in the future in order to regain my routine. :)

However I will check on sunday on the promo.
I'd rather get extremely good and epic titles like planescape or Baldur's gate once a week

rather than medicore titles twice a week

GoG just needs to do better promotions and have more variety in them
