So, I was just talking to my friend who's also a PC gamer and told him what a great alternative GOG is to steam and that they also have a money back guarantee and great sales and no DRM and all that jazz but then I also had to tell him that he won't really be able to use it because the store page is only available in english and french and he doesn't speak or read either of them. So since a french version came out just recently I thought it might not be totally out of the question that a german version might be available at some point? Hopefully soon? That would be awesome!
So, does anyone have any information about that? Would be good to know if there were any plans or at least some tangible roumors.

There is no official information except that gog wants to add more languages.

When or what languages will come no one can say :-)
The French version of the site was kept under wraps until it went live, so there likely won't be any definitive answers available to you until they do so (or don't...)

I imagine Germany, Switzerland, and Austria are, taken together, among the very best customers of GOG and my guess is that you will have a German-language home page available at some point in the future.

But even if it is planned, it likely won't be confirmed until it actually happens.
Okay, thanks for the infos, guys! It's a bit unfortunate that we won't get any heads up but at least I can keep my fingers crossed that we'll get it at some point! Really looking forward to it. GOG has become my favourite site for buying games by far and it would be great if more people could engage in it.
