What are you waiting for? Get super-heroic 60% off!

Freedom Force vs. the 3rd Reich, a real-time tactical RPG that pits a pack of quirky superheroes against the Nazi supersoldiers, is discounted by 60% on GOG.com for the next 24 hours.

Minuteman can jump like an overpowered cricket and deflect bullets with his psychic force field while smashing the enemies with his powerful punches. Tombstone is the master of electricity and a ghost-whisperer. Quetzalcoatl embodies an ancient vengeful Aztec deity. Bullet can move so fast, that many people believe he can be in several places at a time. Those are only few of many superhuman operatives known as the Freedom Force. Their new, somewhat unexpected mission: to go back in time and stop the nazis from winning the World War II. A task that would've been much easier if the Third Reich didn't have its own supersoldiers.

Freedom Force vs. the 3rd Reich combines RPG character management and development with real-time tactics and stylish comicbook-like graphics. It offers many cleverly designed missions which call for skillful use of your characters' unique super-abilities. Also, if the original cast of heroes doesn't meet your expectation, you can always create one yourself, giving him or her a unique look, and a set of powers. Finally, make sure to check out the story-driven multiplayer scenarios when you finish the single player campaign.

Zip up your costumes, iron your capes, and get ready to kick some Nazi butts in Freedom Force vs. the 3rd Reich for only $2.39 until Thursday, August 16 at 10:59 AM GMT.

Bloodygoodgames: You can buy the first one on GamersGate for only $3.99, so with this Gem on sale you can play both games for only $6.38. A darn good deal.

I grabbed this. Have played it before and it's incredibly fun.

dirtyharry50: I'll see your $6.38 and raise you $1.11 so I can own them both on Steam. I like Steam's features, especially the time tracking when I play. ;-)
You couldn't pay me to buy games on Steam. Plus, it will cost you a lot more when Steam finally folds and you no longer have access to your games. Me? I'll stick with GOG thanks. I like the DRM free :)

Now that's some good trolling! :D

Time tracking hey, the paranoid in me asks what else they may be tracking :)
Bought for the price, lack of DRM, and no tracking :)

Got it(and Gorky 17) on a whim yesterday and had to say that I was quite surprised by it, it has been alot of fun so far and I can't help but get a kick out of the Golden/Silver age of comics style camp, lines like "Peaches and Cream"(seriously I half expected Brut Ward and Adam West, the 60/70's Batman and Robin, to show up) , and characters.

I know you hate Steam and love Gamersgate. lol

When Steam finally folds? Like most collectors here I have more games than I know what to do with. It wouldn't matter - I'd still have a backlog. It is also pretty unlikely to happen any time soon.

Anyway, I just posted that in fun to tease you because you constantly promote Gamersgate here and make it clear you hate Steam. I actually do like Steam and I really do like the built in time tracking. Plus, I like to buy American. I'm sure you can understand that. ;-)

Yep, because I avoid everything American I can, and buy British, Spanish or Thai :)
