I just decided to try 7th Guest on my Android tablet, running it on ScummVM. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of the game, but after a short while I noticed I like it much better when playing it on a tablet. The same goes with most point and click adventure games as well. There's just something there, that makes the games feel much more fluent and natural than playing them on a PC. It's almost like those games, like Sierra's adventures were made to be actually played in this environment.

So, anyone else tried some GOG's one a tablet, using Dosbox or ScummVM or some other method? Does any game jump to you as something you enjoy more when playing it on a touchscreen device?
Lands of Lore 1 running with scummvm. With the big arrow-keys and buttons it works perfectly on a tablet, like it was made for a touch-device. Biggest problem with scummvm on a tablet is if you need to press a mouse-button longer, as example in the Dig when you need to adjust the mirrors. Maybe it was the right mouse-button, I can't exactly remember. You can still emulate thas also in scumvm, but it's tricky. Also parser-games like the old sierra adventures are not really fun to play for me. But most other point and click games work great on a tablet.

Sure, there's always some pecularities when playing games in an environment they weren't made for, like right mouse clicks for an example. But more often than not, I get the hang of it pretty fast.

I'd imagine that Lands of Lore and most other games in the same style would work pretty well. I'd guess starting from Might and Magic 3 that series would work well.
Hero Siege and Bardbarian offer a true challenge on a tablet ;)
Baldurs gate 1 and 2 work perfectly on a touchscreen.
Even if the controls were fine, quite often my reluctance to play a PC game on a tablet is because the audio (including music) sounds so poor on it, due to small speakers. I guess I could use headphones...

If I was e.g. a taxi driver, I would probably play every day on a tablet, while waiting for a new ride.

Non-gaming: I still haven't figured out how to use GOG forums effectively with a tablet or smartphone. I have no idea how to get those menus where you normally just hover your mouse, not click them. I've tried Chrome, Firefox and Opera on Android, still I don't get it.

The other pain point is if I try to reply to a forum message, copying/pasting text around etc. So hard and inaccurate on the tablet.
