@bazilišek: Flavour is easy to fake or easy to slightly adjust. He may be writing large papers until he snapped and started killing or something similar. I don't care for his flavour much, though, because he is lying about his role anyway.

No. Red_Baron wasn't playing at the start of the game and has never played as a town-aligned role in a previous game, as he himself mentioned.

Because everyone else who has made any sort of claim so far has claimed the name of a player of THIS game of Mafia.

And notice I didnt say that was inherently 'scummy' - I said it was 'interesting' My vote stands due to the sleep part of the claim.

Let me put it this way - my name is someone who is playing this game, and I would suspect so is nmillars, otherwise he wouldn't be making the point.
Along with those already claiming, it makes Twilights claimed name somewhat suspect, would you not say??

I think we don't all have name from this game. Our name had to feature in previous game so there shouldn't be any Telika or JMich and they have to be replaced by someone else.

I do not see how twilightbard claiming red_baron is scummy in itself (i don't believe that names play a role, and i believe that red_baron is a possible character name, and if it's a lie then the arguent of red_baron's name being significant falls). BUT.

Although Red_Baron wasn't always mafia, he was town only once out of his 4 games. Once he was neutral surviovr (with kill) and twice he was mafia.
So yes, it is strange to say some names are more likely ot be scum when you are one of them.

My vote is at nice comfy place and it won't certainly move.

This is a good point, and it is kind of... weird:
-Case 1: TB is Town - In this case it seems odd that TB is pushing for names having role meanings when his name is most likely associated with mafia. Unless he's not aware of Red_Baron's record, surely he knows this'd cast suspicion on him?
-Case 2: TB is Scum - In this case it's even weirder since, by pushing for names to have meaning, he's setting himself up to be incriminated when he claims.

Unless he just wasn't aware of Red_Baron's history, but I find that unlikely since he was talking about how history was important. So yeah, not sure what's up with this. Unless he's that neutral role that wants to get lynched first? But I don't want to use that as a one-size-fits-all excuse for anyone who acts weirdly.

I also find his claim that he doesn't sleep strange, since townies going to sleep at night is a key point of the game.
