Love GOG. Nuff said.
However, I do wish the downloader had several features that, now that my collection is somewhat large, are severely lacking. Please note that my suggestions are meant to be optional additions. If somebody prefers to use the client only for downloads, I don't see why they shouldn't be able to do so.
1. The downloader client to maintain the list of purchases. Right now it's a bit of a bi- erm, bother to go file-hunting just to check whatever I forgot to download immediately after purchase.
2. Downloader verifying local installation files for potential update notification - would tie in nicely with the above. I realize it's available in "My Account", but I already managed to disable an update notification for Witcher 1 without actually downloading the update.
Shouldn't be that much of an issue to code this in while maintaining minimal digital footprint, and it's pretty much reducing unnecessary hassle maintaining large GOG collection stored on a local drive.
