Could you please add:

Under the Gifted section it would be grand to be able to see what was gifted to you and by whom. (I know I can just check my email but this would be great aswell)

For me, the most important features to add would be:

-> the ability to easily know if/when we have an outdated game version;

-> a more robust downloader, with the ability to set dl limits on both rate and amount per unit of time (x GB per day, week, etc.) for those who have a download quota;

-> allow us to download the extras in a single file, through the downloader.


Basically what the OP put under the "Game Updates " section.

A minor one would be to give us more options in the shelf arrangement (allow blank spaces; move several games at once, etc.).

right-o ... of course I just realized GOG.com allows for anonymous gifting ... one could do an awesome GOG.com Secret Santa for the next holiday period!

I'll update with the OP all the new suggestions above and even get to remove one!

It appears that they have changed the forums so if you wait long enough between posts - it creates a new post! So one wishlist item down! I'm sure it has nothing to with my wishlist, but I'll be happy to take credit. ;)

I dont know how to do it anyway so it may already be possible, but the ability to imbed an image into the post so instead of following the link you could just see it there

Imbedded images would be a nice feature. Updated OP again with some of the suggestions I missed and imbedded pictures.

Embedded pics would be nice but for some it may increase the load times drmatically so it'd be good if it were available but maybe with an option in user panel to allow or disallow embedded images in place of links to said images.

That is also a very good point. (with an option to view them as attachments as the current system)

* Here's a new one that just happened. The ability to make a new post in one tab while editing your post in a previous one. In the middle of my response I went to another forum and clicked new post and it erased everything I had said :(

* Be able to star a game and then add a review later
* Edit my review
* tag game state (not tried yet, installed, played, finished)
* more ways to sort my game list (maybe be genre???)

Good list. Tabbed posting windows or multiple posting windows would be really nice - I've lost posts that way myself when I forget.

I believe you can star a game and post a review later - especially if you use the star bar at the top of the gamecard page or in the game info tab in the My Accounts page.

I've not tried to edit a review, you can't edit them?! That would be another major improvement.

Tagged game states might be cool when GOG implements the public profiles and public wishlists.

I'll also add the last to the shelf re-arrangment suggestion.

Wishbone pointed out to me that an official GOG features suggestions thread already exists. So I'll keep posting and responding here for a few more days (say until Friday) and then post the total agglomerated suggestion from the final, updated OP list there on Monday. I don't know if they still check it, but I figure they have as much chance as checking it as this one if they haven't already read and been keeping tabs on this thread.

I suppose come Friday/Monday with my current plan, my own thread would be an excellent example of a thread where I could lock my own thread without deleting it. I should add that suggestion to the OP amongst all the other new ones after all!

Any other last minute (where the minute lasts 12 hours) GOG.com feature suggestions?

A separate mod database or download section .

Fix the bestseller list.

Add Interac as a payment option (I'm a Canadian without a credit card, so hey, at least ONE person would benefit ;)
