What is your desktop resolution?
1440 by 900 it can be 600 by 800 if i need it to be
Torment wants 640x480 resolution, it might not be supported by your display. Older cheap LCD displays used in laptops supported scaling small resolutions poorly and as small res as that might be a problem. Check if you videocard supports gpu scaling, or try out widescreen patch to set resolution to something higher.
Could maybe try running it in a window?

GameRager: I use the widescreen patch and it works wonders at letting me set high/wide resolutions....thing is, if you're planning on patching the game with all the fixes and stuff out there the game can be finickicy if you apply some patches/fixes/tweaks out of a certain order.
Yeah, there's a guide to doing it properly. But I don't have the link. Works like a charm though. Worth googling for those who need it. But I'd imagine it's already linked to in the Planescape forum.

Edit: bloody hell, if they gave out negative stars you'd be on your way to three now.

GameRager: voting me down interestingly enough not because I say something demeaning(i've cut back), but because I irked their "top five" list of pals.
You know, I'm really far from being a conformist of any kind, but insulting people not only despite but BECAUSE they are pretty respected members of a community is hardly a good start in becoming a part of it. Going into denial about it is bound to piss even more people off.

You screwed up. Stop reminding us of this fact or have the guts to honestly apologize. Either way - you seem like a likable person, so things should work out for you just fine in due time...

GameRager: This place is nice, but some of the higher up users act like such social network drama queens.....voting me down interestingly enough not because I say something demeaning(i've cut back), but because I irked their "top five" list of pals.
Honestly, the best thing you could do is just move on. Just stop bringing up how you got neg repped in the first place, and basically start over.

GameRager: I don't even want to bring it up anymore, but some here still bring it up on occasion to stir stuff up.......a few just ask because they're wondering what i did wrong and I respect that, but people bringing it up in threads and going off topic in those threads is kinda uncool, IMO.
I have no idea who of us oldies have a grudge against you (I didn't bother reading the stunt threads that appeared during the first couple of days), but seeing your rep count go down without any posts being heavily low-rated is strange. I do seem to remember you welcoming downvotes at one point, but I may be thinking of someone else.

No, he's the guy you're thinking of. It is very peculiar how his rep goes down so dramatically without any of his posts getting hidden, though.

GameRager: And yes, I may have "screwed up" my rep, but I don't think i've screwed up with everyone here or the community as a whole.
Not even with some of the ones you may think you have. Since you decided to calm down a bit, we've participated in the same threads with no issues, even helped each other once or twice. The way you act now (as opposed to before), you seem to fit into the community just fine, and I'm frankly amazed at the way your rep continues to drop like a stone in high gravity.

The reason I'm commenting on this is because you bring up my name fairly often in this connection. Let me just assure you that I'm not one of the people systematically nega-repping you, and I sincerely hope noone else is doing so "on my behalf" for some reason.
I am Wishbone's spokesperson. He is out right now for an "Important Meeting" but I may assist you as best I can on his behalf.
You're definitely getting along a lot better now. Again, I've already admitted to down-voting some of your posts in the 'angry' days. :) But I haven't for awhile, because your posts have been good.

But somebody must be...there is no explicable way for your rep to be THAT bad without a pretty constant stream of down votes...and that's pretty damn lame.

This. Between this morning and this afternoon GR lost nearly 20 rep. That's pretty hardcore considering he is not going out of his way to get negarepped.
