But you should definitely try playing the first one. Great storyline, great city atmosphere and texture (Love driving in the Hoboken)
i generally like to drive through mafia II and NOT cause chaos and destruction
for some reason the game seems too respectable and dignified to do that

as if it frowns on you behaving like its another gta

dunno why

It must be the music, the clothes, the structure of the city itself that holds you back. The living texture of that years in the game, makes you act like a gentelman (even if you're in mafia, killing people) :P :D

it just feels a lot more real and dignified
it feels like it discourages gta like shenanigans

makes you want to be a gentleman gangster ?
